Quantity Surveyor - Civils
Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)
Location: Wakefield and surrounding locations
Additional: Car allowance, health cover, pension scheme, 26 days holiday (plus BH)
Linsco are delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established regional main contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering projects across the building, civil engineering and structural steel sectors. Operating throughout Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North East, they have built a strong reputation for successfully delivering high-quality construction, infrastructure and public sector projects.
With a strong annual turnover, a growing order book and several long-term local authority and infrastructure framework agreements in place, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Civils & Build division.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects to join a growing business with a secure pipeline of work across local authority frameworks, highways improvements, public realm schemes, drainage and wider civil engineering projects.
Working closely with the Managing QS and wider commercial team, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects ranging from £1m - £15m across a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes.
Projects are likely to include highways improvements, Section 278 works, public realm developments, drainage and infrastructure works, local authority schemes and other framework-delivered projects.
The role will involve a mixture of office and site-based working, providing regular exposure to live projects and key stakeholders.
Linsco is an equal opportunities employer. All applicants will be considered on their merits regardless of background, characteristics or personal circumstances. All applications will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
