Job summary

Local Authority West Midlands is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their quantity surveying operations in a hybrid, temporary capacity. The role offers £400 per day (Umbrella) with a contract duration of temporary until March 2027 and potential extension.

• Lead the tender process, draft contract documentation, analyze contractor bids, and manage formal public procurement rules.
• Administer standard forms of contract (such as JCT or NEC).

Job Requirements

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor (or procurement professional) with a strong background in local authority and public sector projects.
• Sound knowledge of the Public Procurement Act 2023 and public sector procurement compliance requirements.
• Proven ability in delivering pre-contract and procurement activities.
