Qualifications

  • Expérience avec des projets de construction d'une valeur de plus de 100 millions de livres sterling.
  • Expertise en gestion de contrats NEC requise.
  • Expérience en ingénierie civile ou industrielle de grande échelle préférable.

Responsibilities

Project Overview

SRM is preparing for a major construction programme in Port Talbot, South Wales. The works will involve heavy civil engineering across various industrial fronts over the next 3 to 4 years, starting with enabling works in Q3 2025.

Opportunity for Experienced Quantity Surveyor

If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with large multi-million-pound project experience, we have a great opportunity to join our team in Port Talbot. You will work on an interesting, complex, and technically challenging project valued over £200m, under an NEC contract.

The Quantity Surveyor Role
  1. Collaborate on Work Scope Documents and procurement of enabling work packages with the client procurement team.
  2. Manage commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and subcontract management through to final account.
  3. Minimize risk and cost while maximizing value through cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
Your Profile
  1. Degree in BSc Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or equivalent experience/memberships.
  2. Experience managing large construction projects valued over £100m.
  3. Preferably experience in large-scale industrial or civil engineering projects.
  4. Experience with Construction Management projects.
  5. Experience working with NEC contracts.
