Your new role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of subcontractor procurement, cost control and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle. • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and supporting mitigation strategies.
  • Managing and negotiating variations throughout project delivery.
  • Undertaking regular site visits to monitor progress and support commercial decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Capturing and analysing project cost data to improve reporting and future budgeting accuracy.
What you'll need to succeed

  • A sound understanding of the construction project lifecycle.
  • Experience of subcontractor procurement and tender management.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with knowledge of MS Project advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience relating to ICP appointments would be beneficial but is not essential.
What you'll get in return
  • Competitive salary and annual bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid working arrangements.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies.
  • Life assurance and pension scheme.
