Job summary

WR HVAC in Romford is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for M&E projects. You will manage commercial performance, valuations, variations, and subcontractor accounts while collaborating with project managers and senior commercial staff.

The role focuses on cost control, client liaison, and ensuring margins on electrical and M&E schemes across London and the South East.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or building services.
• Ideally from electrical, M&E, or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong commercial and numerical skills.
• Knowledge of valuations, variations, and subcontract accounts.
• Confident dealing with clients and project teams.
• Strong Excel and general IT skills.
• QS or Commercial Management qualification preferred.

We're recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a growing electrical and building services contractor delivering commercial M&E projects across London and the South East.

This is a hands-on commercial role, taking responsibility for project costs, valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts while working closely with Project Managers and senior commercial staff.

The Role
