Adecco is representing a client seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own projects from inception to completion, delivering cost management across fast-track fit-out projects. The role is primarily based in Romford with UK-wide site travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume fit-out projects (£100K–£5M).
• Proven track record running own projects from inception to completion.
• Experience in administration of JCT construction contracts.
• Excellent client-facing skills with ability to build rapport and trust.
• Willingness to work on projects across the UK.
• Ability to base at Romford office.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• MRICS accreditation or working towards chartership.
• Experience in client-side consultancy and SME environment.

Client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. We are a dynamic and long‑standing consultancy, delivering high‑quality cost management and commercial services across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident QS who enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team with autonomy, responsibility, client interaction, and working on fast‑paced projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full ownership of your projects, running them day‑to‑day from initial inception through to successful completion. You will be responsible for working on multiple fast track fit out projects, delivering cost management services, while acting as a trusted client‑facing representative of the business.

You will primarily be based from our Romford office, with regular travel to sites across the UK.

• Full delivery of cost management services from inception stage through to completion

About You – Experience & Skills

We are looking for a confident, motivated QS with a strong track record in delivering high‑quality work. The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong background in fast‑paced, high‑volume fit‑out projects (ranging from £100K to £5 Million). Projects include new fit out, refurbishments, extensions and alterations and multi‑site roll out programmes.
• Proven experience running your own projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Experience in the administration of JCT construction contracts.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Willingness and flexibility to work on projects across the UK.
• Ability to work from our Romford office as your main base
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Chartered (MRICS) or working towards chartership
• Experience in client‑side consultancy and working within an SME
