Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group in Peterborough is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of water infrastructure projects. The role is four days on site with one day working from home, offering a strong salary and excellent package.

You will manage valuations, NEC contract administration, and subcontractor payments, ensuring projects stay within budget and maintain strong client relationships. A relevant QS degree and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
  • Experience on water infrastructure frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure


Location: Peterborough (4 Days On Site / 1 Day Working From Home)
Salary: £40,000 - £59,000 + Excellent Package


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major water and utilities infrastructure projects across the East of England.


The successful candidate will have previous experience within water, utilities or civil engineering and be confident managing the commercial aspects of projects from inception through to final account.


The Role:


  • Managing the commercial delivery of water and utilities projects.

  • Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.

  • Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events and change management.
