Kier Group plc in Norwich is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a permanent basis. You will take-offs, produce price lists, and support project delivery on a portfolio of schemes. The role requires a qualification in Quantity Surveying or working towards one, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to travel to site locations.

Qualifications

• Holds, or is working towards, a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying or related role within the construction, civil engineering, or highways sector.
• Strong IT skills with Excel proficiency.
• Confident managing large data sets and balancing competing priorities.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

• Maintaining scheme cost monitors, producing month-end CVRs and monitoring costs across assigned schemes

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

• Completing accurate take-offs and producing task price lists for task orders
• Supporting the commercial management of a portfolio of projects and presenting scheme performance at gateway meetings
• Maintaining scheme cost monitors, producing month-end CVRs and monitoring costs across assigned schemes
• Using contract management software to manage and value change on allocated projects
• Collaborating with operational colleagues and clients to provide commercial advice for safe and efficient delivery

• Holds, or is working towards, a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Brings experience from a Quantity Surveying or related role within the construction, civil engineering, or highways sector
• Demonstrates strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Has excellent analytical and organisational abilities, with confidence managing large volumes of data and balancing competing priorities
• Holds a full driving licence and is comfortable travelling to project sites when required
