Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor for a fixed-term contract located in North Tyneside. You will work closely with design and construction teams, manage costs with precision, and ensure schemes run smoothly and successfully.

The role requires professional QS qualifications, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to deliver within deadlines. Onsite work pattern is three days per week with standard hours, contributing to integrated project delivery from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Support Surveying and Estimating teams in appointing and managing contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Prepare accurate cost plans and Bills of Quantities for both pre- and post-contract stages.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to identify changes early and manage change control effectively.
• Plan and manage your workload proactively to minimise risk and avoid disputes.
• Work seamlessly with design and construction teams to ensure integrated project delivery from start to finish.
• Contribute to successful outcomes by maintaining strong communication and coordination across all stakeholders.

Our client has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a fixed term contract until May 2027. You'll work closely with design and construction teams, manage costs with precision, and help ensure every scheme runs smoothly and successfully. Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: North Tyneside - 3 days per week onsite

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30

Salary: £45,000 PRO RATA
