A leading regional main contractor near Maidstone is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial project aspects. This role involves preparing cost plans and managing budgets across diverse projects, fostering career development within a supportive team.

As part of their continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute and delivery-focused QS to take ownership of multiple projects and play a key role in the business’s ongoing success.
The Role:
Managing the commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account.
Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and valuations.
Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations.
Liaising with site teams, clients, and consultants to ensure financial efficiency.
Reporting to a Commercial Manager or Director, depending on project size.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a main contracting environment.
Solid background working on new build or refurbishment projects in residential, fit-out, care or custodial sectors.
Strong contractual knowledge (JCT/D&B).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
