Job summary

A leading infrastructure company in London is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis. This role involves managing budgeting, subcontractor applications, and delivering commercial inputs for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and extensive experience in subcontract management. Competitive salary between £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience, along with a company pension scheme and generous annual leave.

Job description

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure company, in a permanent role. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (2-3 days a week) from our clients London office. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of construction projects, with an experienced and motivated team.

-Competitive salary ranging from 50,000- 55,000 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead budgeting, cost planning, and CVR management across multiple live projects.

-Manage subcontractor/client applications, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

-Represent RWP in meetings, providing commercial input to decisions.

-Oversee tenders, negotiate terms, and administer NEC3/4 contracts.

-Collaborate with engineers, CAD teams, and PMs to align delivery with commercial goals.

-Produce monthly reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis for stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.

-Must have extensive experience (4-5 years) in subcontract management.

-Prior experience working within the water sector, civil, or rail/infrastructure.

-Familiarity with NEC forms of contract (Option A or C) and experience administering them.

-Strong understanding and knowledge of Excel, Word, and project costing tools.

-Excellent communication skills.
