This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor's civils team.

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Civil Engineering, Public Realm project in Liverpool. This is a 12-month contract, outside IR35, with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects, considering materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, and evaluate tenders from contractors.
  • Manage contracts, including negotiation and administration of changes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenditure, and implement cost control measures to stay within budget.
