Job summary

NRL in Glasgow seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major defence‑related infrastructure programme. The role requires in-depth NEC4 contract knowledge and strong commercial governance within a secure environment, engaged via Umbrella or PAYE for a 12‑month inside IR35 contract.

The position is hybrid with on‑site presence in Glasgow 3–5 days per week, offering involvement in a national initiative and rigorous security/compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive NEC4 experience, ideally PSC, with strong contract administration expertise.
• Current SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
• UK national by birth (mandatory due to project restrictions).
• Proven commercial and contractual experience within large infrastructure or defence projects.
• Ability to work confidently in a joint-venture setting with multiple stakeholders.
• Hybrid working with on-site Glasgow 3–5 days per week and IR35 experience.
