We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team based in Sellafield to work on a 17-year framework.

Since 1869, we've worked on building and civil engineering projects that have set the standard for others to follow - including recent examples like the Eden Project, Olympic Stadium, and the award-winning Bloomberg building.

The Quantity Surveyor role

  1. Manage various commercial aspects such as procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and managing subcontract work packages through to final accounts.
  2. Work collaboratively, with strong contract administration, change control, and forecasting skills.
  3. Minimize risk and costs while maximizing value through cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.

Your profile

  1. Hold a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships.
  2. Experience working on multi-million civil engineering projects, preferably with some experience in the nuclear sector.
  3. Experience with NEC contracts, ideally NEC 4.
  4. Experience with electronic contract administration tools is advantageous.
