Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).
  • Previous experience in social housing or public sector construction is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of maintenance contracts, frameworks, and SOR coding.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: Dependent on experience

About the Role:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dungannon, working on a variety of social housing contracts across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will manage costs, contracts, and procurement to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts for social housing projects.
  • Carry out measurements, BOQs, and tender documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor enquiries, negotiations, and payments.
  • Track variations and provide accurate cost reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with housing association and public sector requirements.
  • Work closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to monitor progress and budgets.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, housing associations, and supply chain partners.
