Job description

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next big challenge? Do you want to work on major civil engineering projects across the South West? Ready to take ownership of projects from tender stage through to final account?

We're seeking skilled Quantity Surveyors to join our clients commercial team as they deliver a busy programme of work for the forseable future. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and contract forms, including NEC and ICC.

You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, and you'll play a key role in cost control, procurement, and contract management-helping ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.



What you'll do:

  • Lead commercial management on assigned projects

  • Prepare financial reports, manage variations, and handle contractual notices

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track

  • Oversee procurement planning and change control

  • Prepare interim payment applications and agree final accounts



What we need from you:

  • Civil engineering experience in the UK

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or similar)

  • NEC contract knowledge

  • Valid UK driving licence
