Overview

Our client, one of the UK's most reputable and high-performing housebuilders, is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Bristol.

Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of multiple housing developments, from procurement through to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost plans, tender documentation, and budget estimates
  • Procure and manage subcontractors and supplier packages
  • Monitor site progress, variations, and valuations
  • Ensure project budgets and timelines are maintained
  • Work collaboratively with site and technical teams
  • Administer contracts and maintain accurate cost reporting
About you
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience with a housebuilder
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement
  • Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software
