Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Location: Bournemouth

Are you a quantity surveyor looking to take the next steps in your career?

This is a great opportunity for a quantity surveyor to join a family run business who are delivering structural steel projects across the commercial sector across the UK, Europe, Africa & The Caribbean. Due to current workload, you will support the project management team on budgeting, cost variations & final accounts to ensure projects are being delivered on time & on budget.

Responsibilities as a Quantity Surveyor:

• Analyse cost vs budget data




• Assess all costs and expenditure across all divisions in the business (design, sales, manufacturing & installation)




• Support the project management team with applications for payments and final accounts




• Communicate weekly reports




• Assist in problem solving and determine action plans

We would welcome conversations with Quantity Surveyors who:

• Are educated to a degree level




• Have experience within the construction industry




• Possess a strong commercial awareness across JCT & NEC forms of contract




• Can communicate across all levels both internally and externally




• Have strong IT Skill - specifically MS Office
