What You’ll Be Doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial delivery of diverse projects, ranging from planned maintenance and refurbishment to large-scale new builds and retrofit works. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and clients to ensure cost-effective outcomes while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
  • Conduct tender analysis and contractor negotiations
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations
  • Contribute to value engineering and risk management initiatives
  • Support sustainable construction goals, including decarbonisation and PAS 2030 standards

REQUIREMENTS

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction or maintenance
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and cost management systems
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Commitment to sustainability and social value delivery
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable
