Job summary

Lovell in the Midlands is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the Quinton office and support multiple sites across the Midlands region. You will drive commercial success by managing costs and maximizing value while collaborating with operations, clients and supply chain.

The role requires solid Quantity Surveying experience within construction, knowledge of contracts, valuations and final accounts, and strong Excel/COINS proficiency.

Job description

Permanent – Full Time – 40 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Lovell’s Midlands region, working from our Quinton office and on various sites around the Midlands area.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in driving the commercial success of our projects. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners, you'll help manage costs, maximise value, and support the successful delivery of Renew projects.

You’ll have previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, ideally within a main contractor or social housing environment, along with a relevant qualification such as an HNC or equivalent. You’ll have strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction contracts, valuations and final accounts, alongside excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

You’ll be confident using COINS or a similar construction management system, with strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Word and Outlook. You’ll also be comfortable producing accurate commercial reports, forecasts and documentation.
