Job summary

Lovell Partnerships Ltd in the Midlands region is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Quinton office and work on sites across the Midlands. This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours per week and focuses on driving commercial success and cost control on Renew projects.

You will work with operations, clients and suppliers, handling contracts, valuations and final accounts, with proficiency in COINS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying within construction, main contractor or social housing preferred.
• Qualification such as an HNC or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of contracts, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial success and manage project costs across Midlands sites.

Job description

Permanent – Full Time – 40 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Lovell’s Midlands region, working from our Quinton office and on various sites around the Midlands area.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in driving the commercial success of our projects. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners, you'll help manage costs, maximise value, and support the successful delivery of Renew projects.

You’ll have previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, ideally within a main contractor or social housing environment, along with a relevant qualification such as an HNC or equivalent. You’ll have strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction contracts, valuations and final accounts, alongside excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

You’ll be confident using COINS or a similar construction management system, with strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Word and Outlook. You’ll also be comfortable producing accurate commercial reports, forecasts and documentation.
