A leading Civil Engineering contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor based in Banbury. In this role, you will handle the commercial aspects of significant civil engineering projects. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering contractor and deliver civil engineering packages.
The company are a well establish specialist contractor and market leaders in delivery of civils, groundworks and construction projects, and your role as Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for looking after the commercial aspects of the work on this major project. This would be based out of their Banbury office.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Maintain cost control procedures
- Budgets and Cash flow forecasts
- Effectively implement NEC contract
- Sub contractor management and payments
- Applications for payment
- CVR's
- Month end reporting
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor happy to consider AQS applicants who are looking for their next step.
- Ideally worked in Civil Engineering / Water / Infrastructure sectors
- NEC3 form of contract
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor
- Relevant qualifications e.g. Degree
