Quantity Surveying / Cost Control Future Opportunities - Energy | Expression of Interest, Edinburgh

Are you an experienced QS/Cost Controller with experience in the power/energy sector? We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated professionals to join our dynamic team in the coming months.

The energy sector is rapidly transforming, driven by growing demand, regulatory changes, ambitious carbon reduction targets, and technological innovations.

  • We are expanding our advisory services team across the UKI and are interested in talented Quantity Surveyors / Cost Controllers interested in joining us soon. Opportunities include working on various projects with clients such as National Grid.

You will be part of a collaborative team working with diverse clients to develop innovative, sustainable solutions to industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. We offer significant growth and development opportunities, contributing to the UK energy transition.

Your role will include supporting procurement activities, acting as the key commercial representative, advising on contracts and budgets, providing quality assurance of contracts, and supporting contract and risk management to ensure compliance and cost control.

About You

You are proactive with experience in the Energy or Transmission and Distribution industry. You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor capable of leading projects, with skills in contract and commercial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and procurement. A degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline is preferred, along with knowledge of NEC contracts (Options A, C, and E). Knowledge of National Grid's Transmission procedures is a plus.
