Job Description:

As a Quantitative Trader, you will have the opportunity to combine risk management, market-making, and cutting-edge technology within a team focused on crypto-native trade execution. Our client seeks quantitative traders interested in electronic market-making, systematic environments, and derivatives. You will manage the PnL of the trading desk and associated risks from the start, contributing to strategy improvements and collaborating with senior developers and management. The role offers a dynamic environment free from legacy systems and bureaucratic delays, allowing for innovation and systemic improvements to trading strategies.

In this role, you will trade in the global crypto market, aiming to enhance the desk’s trading strategies and ensure long-term viability in a competitive landscape. Passion for discovering creative ways to generate alpha in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Degree with significant quantitative elements (mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or related)
• 5+ years of experience in HFT/market-making/algo trading/quantitative firms with proprietary trading software
• 5+ years managing PnL of a product or portfolio
• Strong interest in digital assets/cryptocurrencies
• Proven track record
• Owner mentality with collaborative communication skills
• Ability to contribute to UI/UX, functionality, trade reporting, metrics, etc.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and strategies in coordination with the development team
• Fluent English communication skills
• Comfort with remote work

Nice-to-Have

• Matlab/Python coding skills (a plus)
• Willingness to relocate to Bangkok after six months (a plus)
