Quantitative Trader

Role Summary:

Semi-Systematic Traders leverage quantitative problem solving, market knowledge, game theory, and world-class technology to generate profits through risk taking. Our Traders work with Quantitative Researchers to optimize and develop innovative trading strategies across an array of asset classes. Responsibilities:

1. Integrate discretionary trading strategies with systematic ones to provide liquidity and make proactive trading decisions.
2. Use creative problem solving techniques and strategic decision-making to optimize trade selection and execution.
3. Use trading metrics and data analysis methods to improve decision-making and find innovative ways to generate additional profits.

Qualifications:

1. Experience trading complex financial products (options, ETFs, futures).
2. Interest in game theory, decision theory, and strategy games.
3. Ability to make decisions under time constraints in high-pressure situations.
4. Operational leadership and strong interest in trading and technology.
5. Knowledge and proficiency in Python, SQL, and R.
6. Effective problem-solving skills and strategic decision-making.
7. Detail-oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Self-starter, not afraid to question the status quo.
9. Bachelor’s Degree from a top university in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $350,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
