Job summary

Point72’s Technology team seeks a Quantitative Developer to advance risk technology. You’ll work with risk quants to design models, develop analytics, and build scalable reporting for large data sets.

You will collaborate with engineers on system design and translate business problems into technical solutions, applying strong CS fundamentals and Python/SQL expertise in a fast-paced, global firm.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python or similar language.
• Hands-on modeling of financial instruments in equity space.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and SQL.
• Understanding of risk, research and internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Risk quants to design new risk factor models.
• Develop quantitative risk and performance analytics.
• Build scalable reporting framework for terabytes of data.
• Work with engineers on system design and code quality.
• Translate business problems into technical requirements.
