Job Description:

Statera Talent is recruiting an experienced Quantitative Analyst for a market-leading Buy Side firm in London.

The role sits in the Front Office, you will build new derivative pricing models and enhance the existing pricing library. You'll work alongside quantitative developers to implement the models and advise traders on model behaviour.

The role focuses on commodity products. Although prior experience with energy products is required, you do not need to be a specialist. The hiring manager is open to candidates with strong Rates/FX backgrounds who show the ability and the desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and calibrate sophisticated pricing models
  • Develop bespoke pricing tools to enhance deal execution and improve P&L
  • Work closely with trading desks to translate business needs into quantitative solutions
  • Contribute to the team’s pricing library with high-quality code

Required Experience:

  • Experience in Front Office Quantitative Analysis or Commodities Quantitative Risk Analysis
  • Understanding of Options pricing and Monte Carlo
  • Programming skills in C++ or Python
  • Experience modelling energy products
