London (Hybrid, 2–3 days/week) | £Flexible + Equity

This role is for someone with a strong technical background, ideally Computer Science or similar from a top-tier university, who’s ready to take on complex, high-impact work in the energy space. It’s a chance to help build the trading logic behind one of the UK’s fastest-growing climate tech startups.

The team is scaling fast and doing genuinely important work in decarbonisation. They’re already controlling real-world assets like EV chargers, home batteries and heat pumps. You’ll work directly with trading data, market signals and price dynamics. You’ll build and test strategies, prototype new approaches, and play a key role in shaping how their automated energy trading system works in the real world.

Why this role stands out:

  • Work hands-on with live market and trading data
  • Build and test strategies that go straight into production
  • Help shape the core logic behind a fast-growing trading platform
  • Make a direct impact on emissions, system efficiency and commercial performance
  • Join a tight-knit, highly technical team doing meaningful work at pace

Tech stack: Python, SQL, Docker, GCP
