Job Description:

Our team works with clients in financial services facing regulatory and risk modelling challenges in areas such as market risk and credit risk. We collaborate closely with other business areas to combine the necessary quantitative modelling and technical skills to meet our clients’ complex requirements.

Data is central to our work, and technology drives our solutions. We utilize cloud-based high-processing power platforms to develop data extraction and warehousing solutions, leveraging machine learning and advanced analytics.

What you will be doing

  • Working collaboratively in a team environment, where curiosity and questions are encouraged.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends.
  • Developing statistical models to predict outcomes such as credit loss.
  • Reviewing and validating models to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicating technical methodologies and findings to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

We have an open access policy, meaning we do not screen applications based solely on academic performance. You should be working towards an honours degree in Maths, Statistics, Financial Risk, Physics, Economics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. A minimum of grade 4/C in GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent), or in your home language if you do not hold English GCSEs, is required. Additionally, three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) are needed to be eligible. Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, R, or VBA is a plus.
