Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Quantexa Data Engineering Lead to drive the growth of a new capability supporting AML and financial crime initiatives across EMEA. This hands‑on leadership role combines team leadership, solution design and delivery across a global programme.

You will lead a small team of Data Engineers, shape the Quantexa platform strategy and actively contribute to design, development and implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven Data Engineering leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Quantexa is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Scala and Spark.
• Excellent knowledge of ETL, data architecture and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and SQL.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience operating within Financial Services environments.
• Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on delivery.
• Proficient in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.

Job Title: Quantexa Data Engineering Lead

Contract Length: Up to 11 months

Working Pattern: 2-3 days in the office per week, via Umbrella Company

Our client is seeking a Quantexa Data Engineering Lead to drive the growth of a newly established Quantexa capability supporting AML and financial crime initiatives across EMEA. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role that combines team leadership, stakeholder engagement and solution delivery.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of Data Engineers while remaining actively involved in solution design, development and implementation. You will help shape the strategic direction of the Quantexa platform whilst ensuring successful delivery across a global programme.
