Job summary

RCQ Associates - Financial Markets Specialists in London is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the valuations team focused on data-driven, regression-based daily valuations for secondaries and private markets.

You will work with a STEM background, strong Python and Excel skills, and be comfortable with late UK hours to align with US clients. The role blends finance, data science and product development in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree from a top university with excellent academics.
• 2–6 years experience; Analyst 2+ years, Associate 4+ years.
• Strong Python and Excel, knowledge of VBA and BI tools.
• Experience with regression models and applied analytics.
• Maturity, ownership and a self-starting attitude.

Responsibilities

• Build, calibrate and run regression models that drive daily valuations.
• Interrogate data and chase down anomalies to ensure accuracy.
• Second-level review of offshore data science work.
• Support complex financial models for fund structures and startups.
• Prepare fee proposals, scoping discussions and pricing memos.
• Pitch to clients and develop new tech-led valuation products.
• Partner with the MD to originate new tech-led valuation mandates.
