Job summary

Maven Securities is offering a Quantitative Trader Intern position in London. This 6-month intensive training programme focuses on options market making and quantitative methods, with collaboration from traders and researchers to tackle meaningful challenges.

Upon successful completion, you may be considered for a full-time role. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, with a flexible start date in January 2027 or July 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Math, Physics, Financial Engineering).
• Strong programming ability in at least one language (Python preferred).
• Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve quantitative research problems such as volatility modelling, alpha generation and validation.
• Create visualisation tools using Python or AI-assisted code.
• Complete a structured research project under the mentorship of traders and quants.
• Shadow the Options Market Making desks.
