Job summary
Fasanara Capital Ltd is seeking a Quant Technology Lead to steer the design, architecture, delivery, and ongoing evolution of the Open Quant technology platform. You will partner with the Head of Technology, portfolio managers, researchers and operations to translate investment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
The role combines hands-on software engineering with architectural leadership, guiding cross-functional teams and shaping the technical roadmap as Open Quant scales globally.
Qualifications
- Significant software engineering and solution architecture experience.
- Proven delivery of technology for investment, trading, or risk platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and quantitative investment tech.
- Hands-on capability with cloud-native distributed systems and APIs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and evolve the Open Quant technology platform.
- Build scalable, secure, cloud-native systems for multi-manager investing.
- Define technical roadmap across investment, portfolio, risk, data and operations.
- Develop APIs, data models and integration frameworks with governance and auditability.
- Lead the Quant Technology function while collaborating with portfolio managers and researchers.
- Drive AI-driven improvements across software development and workflows.
