Job summary

Fasanara is seeking a Quant Technology Lead to drive the design, architecture, delivery, and continuous evolution of the Open Quant technology platform. You will report to the Head of Technology and collaborate with the Quant investment team to translate investment requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This hands-on leadership role requires building core platform capabilities, partnering with portfolio managers and researchers, and shaping the Quant Technology function as the Open

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering and solution architecture experience.
• Experience delivering technology for investment, trading, portfolio management, risk, or related institutional platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment technology.
• Hands-on engineering leadership and ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, development, and evolution of the Open Quant technology platform.
• Build scalable, secure, cloud-native systems supporting a multi-manager quantitative investment business.
• Define the technical roadmap for core investment, portfolio, risk, data, and operational systems.
• Design robust APIs, data models, and integration frameworks.
• Establish engineering standards across security, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Act as a hands-on technical lead while helping develop the wider Quant Technology function.
• Design and develop institutional-quality investment and portfolio management technology.
• Build portfolio aggregation, investment analytics, and cross-manager risk monitoring capabilities.
