Hunter Bond is seeking a Strategy-focused Software Engineer to join a leading quantitative trading firm in London. You’ll sit at the intersection of software engineering, quantitative research and live trading, turning ideas into robust, production-ready systems.

You’ll collaborate with experienced quants and traders to develop signals, test them, and deploy across data, research and production environments, balancing speed, reliability and performance.

Formación

• Experience building, deploying and supporting production systems.
• Collaborates with trading, quantitative research or other technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and pragmatic engineering decisions.
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Exposure to multiple technologies; C++ experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translate quantitative ideas into scalable, production-quality code.
• Design, build and maintain strategy components used across research and live trading.
• Develop backtesting, simulation and research infrastructure.
• Work across data, research and production environments to deploy strategies.
• Investigate and resolve cross-platform technical issues.
• Partner with quants and traders to balance robustness and speed.
• Scale research and trading tech across the firm.
