Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a technology-driven trading environment in London. You will own the design and development of critical C#/.NET systems that power quantitative investment strategies, collaborating with researchers and engineers to deliver robust production software.

You will work across the full engineering lifecycle from problem understanding to architecture, implementation, optimisation and production, focusing on performance, scalability and data

Qualifications

Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET.
Strong understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming and performance optimisation.
Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software design.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing high-performance C#/.NET systems.
Building scalable applications and services used by investment teams.
Translating complex ideas into robust production software with quantitative researchers.
Designing systems capable of processing significant volumes of data.
Investigating and resolving performance and scalability challenges.
Applying modern software engineering principles to build reliable systems.
Contributing to architectural and technology decisions.
Improving engineering standards and tooling.
Mentoring less experienced engineers and shaping technical direction.
