Job description

We’re looking for an Associate Director to join our growing, ambitious and fun London based quant team!

You’ll be working in a vibrant and friendly environment, delivering bespoke research projects for a range of clients. We work with many leading brands including Netflix, Beats, Samsung, Tesco, Ray-Ban, DAZN and John Lewis to name a few, and you’ll have the opportunity to work across sectors and methodologies (from brand tracking to segmentation, conjoint to integrated studies).

We’re looking for someone who can make an immediate impact and hit the ground running. You’ll have shown good career progression to date, and be hungry to keep going. Our ideal candidate would have:

  1. Knowledge of wide range of methodologies and techniques (and feel comfortable using them on a day to day basis)
  2. Strong analysis skills and ability to produce high quality (and well designed) outputs
  3. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  4. Strong understanding of project financials
  5. Excellent project management skills
  6. Opportunity to develop more junior members of the team

In return, we’ll provide mentoring, a clear career development path to move to Director level, and the opportunity to build strong client relationships! It’s a fun culture, where everyone wants to deliver great quality work, and there’s lots of additional benefits too!

We also have an in-house Ops team who take care of link, table and report checking, and a support team to help with other basic tasks – meaning you’ll be working with a team of researchers who can fully focus on what we deliver to clients!

About us!

  1. We make our own rules – we’re the largest independent insight agency in the UK, this means we don’t answer to scary shareholders. We do things our way and make our own rules (promoting at timings we see fit, not in a certain window in the year)
  2. We’re international – we’ve attracted a diverse, international client base, working in over 60 markets
  3. We’re growing – we’re an ambitious company and consistently grow – and growth brings lots of benefits (both culturally and presenting more opportunities for our team)
  4. We offer rapid career progression – several of our Directors started at Basis as grads. We’re big believers in setting goals and helping our employees across all levels achieve them at a pace to suit them
  5. We’re flexible – our team balances being in our new Central London office (which we love!, including a 4th floor break out area with balconies for socials, workshops etc) with remote working
