Your chance as a Quality Technologist to work alongside one the best senior Technical leaders in the food industry. Hybrid working 2/3 - office/remote.
In this supplier-facing role, with a well-known convenience retailer, you'll be given the opportunity to immerse yourself across the business. This business has undergone a five-year transformation, resulting in a collaborative, sociable and supportive culture.
Here, you'll be working across multiple categories, supporting, and supported by an inspirational Quality Controller. Your primary focus will involve regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, ensuring stage gates are met for product launches and supplier compliance.
We're looking for a self-starter, someone who enjoys working proactively with the NPD and Commercial teams to advise on technical and quality compliance. Always with an eye on improving and streamlining processes, cross-functional working is encouraged here.
Horizon scanning for upcoming legislation, you'll be aware of current and changing information, communicating and advising relevant stakeholders across the business. Day-to-day, you'll be monitoring and investigating any quality complaints, collating data and reporting and tracking improvements, ensuring they're implemented and followed.
Ideally, we're looking for a food science/technology degree, along with at least four to five years' working in the food industry. You'll also need Lead Auditor qualification, HACCP minimum Level 3 and TACCP qualification, with experience of developing and managing emerging food fraud risk systems.
