Job summary

Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd is seeking a Quality Technologist for our Crewkerne site to drive quality excellence. You will support projects, implement improvements and develop systems that enable data-led decision making across departments to keep products safe and compliant.

You will monitor quality KPIs, investigate complaints, and help maintain digital quality systems including iAuditor, while deputising for the Quality Systems Manager when needed.

• HACCP & Food Safety Level 3.
• Good IT skills.
• Internal audit qualification.
• Good understanding of food processing parameters and controls.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a food safety and quality champion across the site.
• Coaching and supporting teams on food safety, quality standards and due diligence requirements.
• Developing, implementing and maintaining processes, procedures and controls that uphold company standards.
• Supporting product trials and site quality assurance updates.
• Analysing quality and production data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Investigating customer complaints, identifying root causes and driving effective resolutions.
• Supporting traceability exercises and audit activities.
• Helping develop and improve digital quality systems, including paperless systems and iAuditor.
• Monitoring and reporting on site quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Deputising for the Quality Systems Manager when required.

We're now looking for a Quality Technologist to join our Crewkerne site and play a key role in driving quality excellence across the business.

As a Quality Technologist, you'll support the business in delivering projects, implementing improvements, and developing systems that enable data-led decision making. Working across multiple departments, you'll help ensure our products remain safe, legal and consistently meet customer and consumer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a food safety and quality champion across the site
