Job summary

Eurocell Group Ltd, operating through S&S Plastics in Sutton-in-Ashfield, is recruiting a Quality Technician to support manufacturing teams, maintain the QMS, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will perform audits, calibrations and product inspections, contribute to internal and supplier quality, and collaborate with the SHEQ team to uphold high standards. Excellent benefits and a competitive salary are on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and produce basic ISIR reports.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft software packages.
• Basic knowledge of Shadowgraph and CMM.
• Competent in using callipers, micrometres, height gauges and plug gauges.
• Good understanding of ISO9001; internal auditor to ISO13485 desirable.
• Basic knowledge PPAP,APQP,SPC,5S and 8D.
• Basic understanding of calibration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular audits on products during processes, following predefined guidelines.
• Check packed and finished products before dispatch to the Warehouse.
• Assist in developing product testing capabilities with the Quality Engineer.
• Maintain inspection equipment and assist calibration control.
• Identify and communicate internal quality concerns.
• Provide samples/document profiles to production.
• Audit incoming goods to predefined guidelines.
• Review and approve/reject submitted samples before production runs.
• Assist during external audits by the Quality Manager.
