Job summary

Magna Cosma International in the UK seeks a Quality Technician to drive core QA/QC inspections on the shop floor, ensuring products meet standards and customer expectations.

You will work closely with production, engineering and logistics, conduct tests, analyze data, support root-cause investigations, and maintain documentation. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and compliance with IATF 16949 principles.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal stakeholders.
• Quality experience within a shopfloor manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Basic understanding of the Quality Core Tools - APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA & PPAP.
• Proficient with Business Operating Systems in accordance with IATF 16949.
• Computer literacy, transferrable to MES usage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct core quality assurance and control inspections to ensure products meet defined standards and customer expectations.
• Inspect materials and finished products, perform tests and measurements, analyze data and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and logistics teams to maintain procedures and compliance.
• Identify non-conformances, support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in audits as required.
