Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our busy manufacturing environment in Leeds. This hands-on role focuses on dimensional inspection and the investigation of quality issues through effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

The successful candidate will operate CMM equipment and manual measuring tools, read engineering drawings and tolerances, and perform first-off, in-process and final inspections while maintaining accurate quality records

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as Quality Technician/Quality Inspector or similar in manufacturing.
Experience using CMM and manual measuring equipment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

Operate CMM equipment to inspect manufactured components.
Perform dimensional inspection using verniers, calipers, micrometers and gauges.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Identify and document non-conformances.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
Support continuous improvement activities.
