Job description

Brightwork have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing client at their site in West Lothian on a temporary ongoing basis, with immediate start available.

Duties will include:
- Recording and reporting quality aspects in relation to all Operational functions.
- Providing support and cover for all aspects of the Laboratory & QC functions.
- Supporting and being fully involved with sampling & testing.
- Maintaining high laboratory and analytical standards to the equivalent of Good Laboratory Practice.
- Drive quality improvements through collation, use and presentation of analytical data,

The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with the company requirements.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict health and safety regulations.

Hours of work -
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday dayshift position with rotating weekly hours:
Week 1: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Week 2: 7:00 AM - 4:15 PM
