Quality Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Nuneaton

Salary: £25,390 - £27,000

Hours: Dayshifts, 07:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 12:30pm on Fridays (37 hours per week)

Job Profile

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in quality within a manufacturing environment. The role will support the wider team in ensuring products meet customer requirements and will provide hands-on experience in inspections, process checks, and quality standards. Full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with in-process, final, and incoming goods inspections
  • Support the monitoring of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and suggest improvements
  • Help to record and report quality concerns (NCRs) to the Line Manager
  • Take part in internal audits and process checks under supervision
  • Join HSE walkthroughs and support site safety practices
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area and follow all company safety policies
Essential Skills
  • Interest in developing a career in quality or manufacturing
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work responsibly as part of a team
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and measurements
  • Familiarity with workshop tools (verniers, gauges, etc.)
  • Awareness of ISO standards (9001/14001)
