Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently working exclusively with a leading manufacturer in Nottingham to recruit an ambitious, forward-thinking Quality Technician. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Quality Technician will lead and enhance the organization's quality management processes. This role involves strengthening the Quality systems to meet exceptional product standards, ensure workplace safety and sustainability, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  1. Development of the site's QMS system to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  2. Maintain consistent documentation formats for Policy, Procedures, and Standard Operating Instructions.
  3. Target and reduce internal causes of Non-Conforming Product, including rework, involving production personnel for sustainable improvements.
  4. Ensure all supplier material documentation is maintained and verified against relevant standards.
Requirements
  • Experience with ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
