Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Quality Technician
Industry: Electronics
Salary: £28-30K
Location: Melksham
Type: Permanent

My client is looking to recruit a Quality Technician for their electronics business located in Melksham. They design and develop electronic products for a variety of industries and are looking to recruit this role to provide support for the Production team ensuring that products are manufactured right first-time.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure product quality through doing Inspection through the manufacturing process.
  2. Final inspection of all finished product.
  3. Provide support to the Quality Engineer during First-off, FAAT & FAI activities.
  4. Provide support to the Production Manager in the development of and improvement to operational processes, procedures, and instructions.
  5. Manage & control the processing of nonconforming products identified during product realization.
Skills/Experience Required:
  1. Demonstrable working experience in a similar role.
  2. Demonstrable knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
  3. Able to read engineering drawings and wiring.
  4. Demonstrable knowledge of IPC610 & 620.
Working Hours:

37.5-hour week Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30 (including 30 mins unpaid break), Friday 07:00 - 12:30.
