Quality Technician – Engineering & Manufacturing High Wycombe

Are you detail-driven with a passion for getting things right the first time? Thrive in a hands-on role where quality comes first?
We’re seeking a meticulous and motivated Quality Technician to join a dynamic team in a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment. This is your chance to play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest mechanical and electrical standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform thorough mechanical and electrical inspections on components and assemblies

  • Identify surface and structural defects using a range of precision tools

  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and inspection records

  • Assist with internal audits and non-conformance investigations

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities (8D, 5Y)

  • Contribute to a clean, safe and organised workspace through 5S practices

What You’ll Need
  • Experience in mechanical/electrical testing and inspection

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately

  • Competency with Excel and general documentation

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and lean practices (desirable)
