Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance or Manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Hands-on CMM experience, ideally with programming knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PPAPs and SPC is advantageous.

Job description

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Robert Bosch, Caterpillar and YASA.

We are recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Technician with CMM experience to join our Quality and Process Engineering Team. In this role, you will provide quality support for both current production products and new product introductions.

Responsibilities Include

  • Developing an expertise on specific, specialised measurement equipment as required
  • Training operators on measurement equipment
  • Coordinating Process and Product change requests
  • Completing customer submission paperwork for samples and PPAPs
  • Supporting controlled trials for engineering and product development
  • Performing MSA, GR&R and Equipment capability studies

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Experience of automotive metrology methods in a Quality Assurance or Manufacturing setting
  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • Hands-on CMM experience, ideally with programming knowledge
  • Good level of IT Literacy
  • Good working knowledge of PPAPs and SPC
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Work Pattern

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00

Fridays 08:30 to 14:30
