Job description

Nelson Permanent Placements is working with our client to recruit a Quality Engineer for a well-established company in West Bromwich that provides cable solutions widely used across education, commercial, housing, industrial, and healthcare sectors in the UK.

To be considered for this role as a Quality Engineer, you will be:

• Three years of experience in a quality engineering role or equivalent.
• Hold an engineering qualification at minimum Level 3.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Assist with assembling and measuring parts for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in measuring and assembling parts for distribution.
• Ensure the quality of products for distribution.
• Meet KPIs.

Requirements:

• Ability to comply with and promote company values.
• Hands-on experience in quality engineering and shop floor operations.
