Nelson Permanent Placements is working with our client to recruit a Quality Engineer for a well-established company in West Bromwich that provides cable solutions widely used across education, commercial, housing, industrial, and healthcare sectors in the UK.
To be considered for this role as a Quality Engineer, you will be:
- Three years of experience in a quality engineering role or equivalent.
- Hold an engineering qualification at minimum Level 3.
- Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Assist with assembling and measuring parts for distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in measuring and assembling parts for distribution.
- Ensure the quality of products for distribution.
- Meet KPIs.
Requirements:
- Ability to comply with and promote company values.
- Hands-on experience in quality engineering and shop floor operations.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Motivated to meet targets safely while maintaining quality standards.
Benefits:
- Annual salary of GBP 25,000 - GBP 30,000.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays until 4:00 pm.
