Candidates must have essential experience in quality assurance, IT literacy with Microsoft Office, and a HACCP certificate is desirable. Qualifications

  • Experience within Quality Assurance is essential.

  • HACCP (Food Safety) Certificate desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer standards are clear and understandable to the operations team.
  • Raise any non-conformance by the customer in the QMS (ETQ).
  • Review Power BI temperature report daily and inform the Customer Quality team of specifications.
  • Audit the site environment and equipment for maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Inform the ops team about any quality concerns during the shift.

Overview

Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday, 06:30am to 14:30pm. Location: Derby - DE74 2BD. DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

What does the role entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Ensure customer standards are clear and understandable to the operations team
  • Raise any non-conformance raised by the customer in the QMS (ETQ)
  • Review Power BI temperature report E23 daily and inform Customer Quality team of out of temperature specification. Customer Quality team will advise the DHL Quality team on the next action
  • Audit the site environment and equipment to ensure they are maintained in good repair, and kept clean and tidy
  • Inform ops team about any quality concerns during the shift and outstanding actions
  • HACCP (Food Safety) Certificate would be desirable, however not essential
  • Previous experience within Quality Assurance is ESSENTIAL
  • IT literate, with Microsoft Office packages
